ETA-Comm's ET-2600 is a rack-mountable physical layer switch (L1 switch).
Relay technology to transmit signals between ports as they are carried. This passive switch technology is designed to transmit the signal between the test equipment and the DUT (device under test) as it is. Therefore it can be applied to applications such as laboratory or production line testing.
Each switch is equipped with a controller that manages routing by cross matrix. This controller has a built-in WEB server and provides a remote procedure call interface. The user can operate the switch via the web browser or one of the small client libraries. The library supports C / C ++, TLC and other script descriptions. Languages ​​are currently available for Linux (2.4 / 2.6) and Windows (2000 / XP). The ET - 2600 is a single switch, and you can group up to four units as one set. Users can control a large number of switches using optional multi-switch libraries. Its aim is to give great flexibility to the design of user equipment.
